We do not offer shipping at this time for live birds. Chicks and goslings must be picked up at the farm or transport must be found accommodating an appropriate heat source. We often network with FB poultry transport groups. The transport cost is set by the person completing the route and payment is buyers responsibility.
New Policy as of 2026
Unfortunately this year we have had a lot of orders and wait list spots canceled. This is totally understandable! Life gets hectic and things have to take a back seat.
For us though, that means that we hatch, raise, breed, and kid/lamb out these animals that end up not having a home to go to. This is especially frustrating with poultry orders as we have a long wait list for hatching eggs every year. When individuals don't follow through on gosling or pullet orders, we have birds without homes, and folks who could have gotten eggs to hatch on their own farms.
It is due to this that we will be implementing a deposit system to hold spots on our wait lists. This fee will be a non-refundable $10 deposit that will go toward your order when it is ready. If you choose to cancel your order at the time it is ready, another $10 deposit will be required to reserve your next spot. This will apply to all waitlists including goat, sheep, poultry, and rabbit.
We appreciate everyone's understanding. This is to ensure commitment on both parties parts. It cements your interest, and our dedication to fulfilling your order.
This year we are excited to be offering our own line of laying hens! This have been a five year project for us and we are excited to finally be sharing the results with you all! Statistics can be provided upon request. Higher production with less intake, while retaining heritage qualities such as fertility and foraging ability! We have hatching eggs, chicks, and pullets that will be available starting in March/April.
2026 we will only be offering Rhode Island White crosses with our own hybrid roosters. If you would like more information on this cross or to see statistics send us an email.
Our Cotton Patch geese are a rare heritage breed. We are excited to continue offering this amazing breed to aspiring conservationists and farmers. Offering hatching eggs at $6.00 each, goslings $50.00 (availability pending), and juveniles stock will be available later summer by order only at $100.00 each.
