Betta is the second AI UK lamb to hit the ground this year.  This BIG, BOLD, EWE lamb is what we are aiming for.  She is an improvement to our breeding program in not only feet and legs (a pet peeve of mine of the breed), but also fleece, and front end assembly.

Betta lambed on 1/30/26 with a HUGE ewe lamb. 75% of her genetics are from the UK, which is super exciting.

Betta has improved teat size and placement over her dam as well as increased capacity. This years first fresheners are proving to be a step in the right direction for our dairy heavy Shetlands.
